Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library.
Silence to be maintained.
No discussions permitted inside the library.
Usage of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
Refreshment of any kind and water bottle shall not be taken in the library premises.
Books will be issued on the presentation of ID card.
Each undergraduate student is allowed to take 3 books for the duration of two weeks and post graduate student is allowed to take 5 books for the duration of two weeks. Books borrowed by students can be renewed for another 2 weeks if the book is not much in demand.
Overdue charges of Rs.5/- per day will be levied after expiry of the due date.
If the book is lost the librarian has the power to decide whether the book has to be replaced pr a fine is to be paid by the borrower. Fine could be six times the books current value in addition to handling charges.
Students are required to handle the journals and books carefully, marking with pencil, writing or highlighting, tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In such cases student will be held responsible unless these are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issue.
